Data Deletion

1. Overview

Mavren gives you full control over the data we hold on your behalf. This page explains exactly what data Mavren stores, how to revoke our access to your connected ad platforms, and how to request deletion of any data we have already retrieved.

2. What Data Mavren Stores

When you connect a marketing platform (such as Meta Ads or Google Ads) to Mavren, we store the following on your behalf:

  • OAuth tokens issued by the platform, encrypted at rest and used solely to fetch your ad performance data.
  • Ad performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions) at the campaign, ad set, and ad level.
  • Campaign and creative metadata (campaign names, ad copy, creative thumbnails) used to generate your audit reports.
  • Analysis outputs generated by Mavren (audit reports, anomaly findings, recommendations).

We do not store personally identifiable information about your end customers, and we never share your data with other Mavren clients.

3. Revoking Mavren's Access to Meta (Facebook / Instagram Ads)

You can disconnect Mavren from your Meta account at any time. This immediately revokes our ability to fetch any further data from your ad accounts.

  1. Go to your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
  2. Find Mavren Audit in the list of connected apps.
  3. Click Remove and confirm.

Removing the integration revokes the OAuth token Meta previously issued to Mavren. Mavren will be unable to retrieve any new data from your account from that point forward.

4. Revoking Access to Other Platforms

  • Google Ads: remove Mavren from your Google Account permissions page.
  • LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and other platforms: use the connected-apps or authorised-applications settings inside that platform.

5. Requesting Full Deletion of Stored Data

Revoking access stops new data from flowing in. To also delete data Mavren has already stored, send an email to privacy@mavren.ai from the email address associated with your Mavren account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

Please include:

  • The platform(s) you connected (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads).
  • The ad account ID(s) you want removed, if known.
  • Whether you want a complete deletion or only the data from a specific platform.

We will confirm receipt within two business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with applicable data-protection regulations (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA).

6. What Gets Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, Mavren will remove:

  • All stored OAuth tokens for your account.
  • All ingested ad performance data, campaign metadata, and creative assets.
  • All audit reports and analysis outputs generated for your account.
  • All cached intermediate data used to generate reports.

We may retain anonymised, aggregated metrics that cannot be linked back to you (for example, "average audit length") and minimal records required for legal, billing, or audit obligations. Backups containing your data are purged on our standard rolling cycle, no later than 90 days after the deletion request is completed.

7. Confirmation

When deletion is complete, we will send a written confirmation to the email address that submitted the request, including the date of deletion and the platforms covered. If you do not receive confirmation within 30 days of your request, please follow up at privacy@mavren.ai.
